Yeah we thought maybe coyote too. But The redder scat seems too large for coyote but maybe not big enough for bear... But what do I know. I'm going to guess from the reddish color whoever it was had a meal at the chestnut tree farther up the hill

The bottom one looks a lot like coyote, or possibly bobcat.

I haven't ever seen bear scat that I know of. But here's a link to a page with some photos of bear poop including one of some pink scat that looks very similar to the pink stuff - http://www.bear-tracker.com/bearscat.html. The photo of similar stuff is just a little shy of halfway down the page. You can find it by searching the page for the words "This scat is firmer than the others and possibly not as old."

Could be bobcat. The guy who caretakes the neighboring country club grounds has seen it.
