We get our fair share of the muds too. Most of this winter so far and all spring and the dogs eat it and get sick so no more muds. No trade. But I was thinking as I see them filling the huge dump trucks with snow here... Where are they going with it??? They should take it west!!! Like California needs it...

They told us you guys dump it on the beaches... Goes in the ocean.

I guess that's where it would go eventually anyway. It's just so weird to see trucks full of it

When I was in Minnesota, the big snowstorms were sort of fun, especially since my little 4x4 Jeep could go just about anywhere, including over the plow berms. Unless I couldn't get it started, which happened when it was outside and it was fairly far below zero. Those really cold days aren't fun regardless of whether there is new snow.

The park bench is my favorite photo. And Stella with the snowlady.

The Subaru is managing just fine. Not sure I would attempt the berms--great word for them btw--though.
The cold hasn't been so bad. It's heat tech long underwater but jackets open weather.
What I really don't like is all the salt everyone puts out on the sidewalks that burns the dogs feet... And then the melted sludge lakes that pool at some of the corners you have to go through to cross the street. And then pretty soon the snow is yellow and sooty and then the final stage before they have to come in with excavators to deal with the mounds because it's like cement

But right now it's still new and beautiful

Pretty snow! Was there much more in New York than in Connecticut?
