His Priorities?

Up in the middle of the night because the boy was panting. Took him out back to pee in the yard then back to bed. No more panting. I guess he was so busy saving up so he could mark everything on that last pee walk before bed that he forgot to actually pee.
Another observation about this guy... He really doesn't like to take the time to drink when in the agility environment be it class or a trial... We will have to figure that one out.

Panic had the too busy to drink thing as well. I taught him to drink on command because I was so worried he would overheat!

Sorry I have to relay a funny Pan story. I tried to teach Pan to drink on command so I would get her really hot and exhausted from playing stick then hold her stick and hold water near her face and she would drink sometimes. So now if I say 'drink pan!' and hold her stick she will do a funny perfunctory lick at the water, mostly not even making contact with the water and then being all 'stick!! yay stick!! throw it!!'

Razor often refuses to drink too. Helped us to bring water from home and the SAME bowl. Doesn't always solve it, but it works better.

Sometimes if we scoop up some of his water in a paper cup we just drank out of he will drink. Not fool proof. We've dropped treats into the water bowl and hoped that once his mouth is in the water he will remember that he is thirsty---this works like 1% of the time. People have suggested coconut water... But that seems too hip and weird.
