dont laugh

I have been practicing my Six Ways handling homework a little in the living room... the wing and skateboard is the wing jump and the cat pop-up cube tent is the tunnel entrance... the dog is imaginary, which in, say racquetball practice is called ghosting. (Stella is actually hiding upstairs at this moment because there is a fly downstairs...)

this was the assignment and I have not been anywhere I could practice it in real life yet. so I do it mini in the living room. I think mini is fine. Sometimes I do mini all in one spot before a run, I will handle the whole course in a two foot square area or less... Stella is often confused by this and not sure what she should be doing. I must figure that out, what t do with her when I need to go completely into my own head for a minute. It never is for long.

and I heard back from onemind about my #1 challenge video that I posted here and was too embarrassed to post on their ultracool oneminddogs page... Noora said this:
Hi Dinah!
Thank you so much for your message and video!
I will comment to you during this week. Do you mind if put a public (for Premium members) blog post  on it to give you some tips for training so also others can see and train it?
Noora

and I said sure, if you think someone else could learn something from it...

oh dear

You could never be silly. You are going to be walking in slowmo, in a dimly lit hall and well backlit in no time at all Dinah! I am going to be all 'oh I totally knew her before she was onemind'

ha, i was just imagining the video, you got me to do it, you know me coming in all onemind to our CT garage, totally silhouetted, and the music and all and stella running up next to me and then when i release her she runs with such passion and enthusiasm back the other way behind me to bark at the fence... yep.

well, its sometimes hard to remember each maneuver and you can't even really sketch our how it is supposed to go... so mini in the living room seems to be enough for me to get the basics moves... maybe i will have a chance to add stella tomorrow at the lake...
