i wonder if these wild northeastern berries are what i once heard Stella eating in the dark at the lakehouse and so then we had a long involved back and forth with poison control (sending berry pictures to a private email of kind poison control employee and also a botanist brother-in-law, they'd that gotten so ripe the branch was drooping over the fence into the driveway and so on) who ultimately said the pits of the berries contained arsenic but would pass right on through Stella undigested... i was looking for my post on it, i'm sure i musta posted on it, but couldn't---later, cause i'd like to compare pictures...

LOL. I think those are the berries that grew on our block in Brooklyn. Saw a hipster girl and her baby in a stiller - pulling the berries off a tree on the street a few houses down and eating them and giving to baby then asking me what kind of berries they were. REALLY. 'Twas one of the craziest things I'd ever seen - Darwin award goes to....
