our silvia class progresses...

We are on spring break in Slovenia, so I'm posting these here. Just gotta put 'em somewheres.

stick it... moving into a 2o2o and holding, first time working this on BOSU, still heavily rewarded, adding some motion and distractions

Four Feet In
I think I pushed him too quickly to the smaller bowl, but yesterday when we were playing pick up the plastic donut and put it in the bowl he also offered four feet in this smaller bowl and got it pretty easily... today not as confident...

heeling... I know I should now be working on some distance. but I am very please we have some backing up now in heel position.

one of our rainy day games

Spikey lips???? so random... This CRAZY video comes up and plays right after one of mine about heeling with Razzle... how does youtube decide what follows what? what key word in my video merits this chaser?

You two look like you have a lot of fun training together. :-) I've always thought that four feet in a small bowl looks very uncomfortable for big dogs. I've never quite gotten the point of why the bowl has to be small... other than to look cute. He is doing a great job of trying so hard!

We do have fun! I didn't expect to love this dog this way.

I don't get the smallest bowl thing really either... And Stella wasn't game so I didn't take it too far.
But the last time I did the larger blue plastic baskety thing with Razz he looked all shaky and tentative and spastic like he does now in this video with the metal bowl. But today with the plastic basket he just had more balance more physical awareness and it was easy. So it did something for him

Lol. You went with stick it. Just be careful with it in the ring. I've seen a few judges get surprised the first time it belts out of my mouth in the ring. Once they realize it's my contact cue, they relax. But it will feel strange.

for Stel the backing up to it and moving into 2o2o was "back feet", hard to get out of the mouth fast, but we never intended to use it on course, she was always going to have running contacts---Razz may need it out there, so yep--we went with your stick it. always liked it

I like it too. But you will notice it when it comes out in the ring.
