this morning at the park I was just told about one of Stella's friends, a goldendoodle who started banging her head around last week and pawing one side of her face and then by the time they got to the vet she was blind in one eye... undetected glaucoma



if I remember correctly, the eyesight chart for cats is in the other exam room... get a picture of that next time

hahah! The rumble eye chart would have a pile of poo on the bottom..
Or, maybe that's better on a scent chart.

Pigmentary Uveitis is a big problem in Goldens, it causes glaucoma, and also affects Goldendoodles. that is what Butters was just diagnosed with in it's earliest stages, only can be found by a specialist until it starts causing glaucoma, one of his littermates had it and lost sight in one eye also, thank goodness the breeder told me to have Butters checked so we could catch it early.
