Still not sure. I figure a hound... mix? Designer mix? so hard to tell. Plus, he looks fat? Seems chubby to me.

By color and by his head, he almost looks like a standard dachshund, but with legs? And yes, chubby :-) But nice looking face, neat looking dog.

he was a hilarious looking puppy... his ears were the same length they are now but the rest of him was little... they kind of almost dragged on the ground or at least that was the illusion - he does have a nice face...
and i'm sure the park in the morning is probably the only thing he does and sometimes not even that... i never see them actually playing with him, i see her looking down at her phone and texting lots and him looking endlessly sometimes all over the ground for where thurber pooped... so yes poor nice faced chubby thurber...

i'm wondering what kind of novel this off leash could be... it is an interesting porthole into peoples lives you wouldn't necessarily know otherwise... you get to know things, their sex lives, their medical procedures, their politics, their lawsuits, all kinds of weird things that happen to them they share... i have known people through their divorces and pregnancies and various deaths in their families and dates they go on and romances and attempted suicides... and this is the only time i see them, before 9 am in the park... its the perfect setting for something...

He looks like a Redbone Coonhound. A really, really fat one...

Your dog park book idea sounds very interesting!
