Over 100

Ok because I am still getting winded after a 30/40 second or so agility run and i just don't get that. I was thinking that I needed to add sprints to my elliptical workouts. But the thing is I think about it and then when I get to the gym I fall in to basically the same workout and forget. Tonight I remembered. Every five minutes of 65/75 rpms I did a minute of over 100 rpms. Happy to see my heart rate immediately recover to regular aerobic levels each time pretty quick. I think this is a good plan. I don't know but I think so. I'm tired of being winded.

Yeah, I've also been contemplating just how much sprinting we do in this sport. Suicides maybe? Surely those would help? I'm looking for ideas too. :)

Ooooh suicides. Haven't heard that term since my kids were on their high school soccer team.
I don't know why I expected normal 30 to 40 minute aerobic workouts would build me up and make easy the short quick runs... Never had a personal trainer to explain this stuff so I'm muddling on through this stuff. Oh wait. I lied. Once when I was in my twenties I had a personal trainer. Long ago. Not with any of my own physical goals in mind except to go to the gym with my husband and support his efforts to replace intense painful exercise with smoking. (Goal met. )
