that was the good thing--getting there... the view was nice too of manhattan from brooklyn.
but then, someone stole my hat. I had stuffed it in my coat sleeve and stuck the coat in a random locker. my cruddy $5 street vender knit hat. no lock. never use a lock. never leave anything of serious value. rare that anyone uses a lock. but its cold tonight. someone obviously forgot their own hat. maybe went for swim and couldn't face the cold with wet hair. the husband commented thats like steeling someone's umbrella in a rainstorm... sucks. but, not to dwell on the negative. i hope they enjoy my hat. i got back on the horse so to speak. the elliptical horse. first time since the flu. and thats great.
