The roadtrippin to Chicago with my second born was great. Love my time with my girls. Someone tho somewhere along the way either went to work sick or didn't know they were sick yet and by Saturday night I was an aching shivering sweating mess--even my teeth hurt!!! today four days later... I am finally turning the corner. My lungs are not always musical when I breathe. I actually could taste the orange juice. My teeth have stopped hurting. If B is still not sick today I'm going to feel we dodged a huge bullet and succeeded in getting her and her car back to college without giving her the flu.

The animals have been holding vigils in or around the bed... I've actually holed up in Bs empty room with the hope of keeping the husband healthy. Stella is really ready for life to go back to normal... the cats couldn't care less.

*and can I just thank you from the very bottom of my hear for the "couldn't care less" comment? It's a HUGE pet peeve of mine, and when I DO see it used correctly, I want to do a little happy dance*

i love the quote about the doctor tightening her mask when she sees the construction wroker in the fetal position...
wait. how do people usually use "couldn't care less"? oh, do they say "could care less"?
YES!! in print, on TV on the radio, I hear "Could Care Less" about 90% more times than Couldn't... and I just keep thinking "Do you not HEAR what you're saying???"
If you COULD care less, then you must care, at least a bit... Sigh...
